| | SINGING FOR THEIR SUPPER | Posted on Thursday, 10 February 2011 05:16PM | | The celebrated choir from University College Durham reopened Shepherds Dene on 4th Feb with a concert of sacred music in the chapel. They stayed for the weekend for their annual retreat and were the first to try out the new toilets and showers installed by Northumbrian Pipes during January. At the same time, the Chapel and the Newall Room were both refurbished following a burst pipe. the choir are oncducted in the Chapel by Alexander Crawford.
