|Nine members of Hexham Photgraphy Group took up the challenge to explore Shepherds Dene's house and grounds and the people who work in and retreat to this special place. Their project took twelve months to complete and consists of some seventy images that includes the kitchen, the laundry and setting the tables. |
Gill Jones installation of the Friends of Shepherds Dene is hung in the grounds where the images were taken last summer. Teresa Toms has worked in the basement to produce some stunning shots of darkness and light and here are haunting studies of the woodlands taken by Ian Gale.
The installations in the grounds can be viewed at any time. Work in the house can be viewed by appointment and all are welcome to the private view on Sunday 16th September between 2- 5pm
